  • High resistance to alkalis

Short Destription:

Alloy 405 (Monel) is a ductile nickel-copper alloy that resizes a wide range of corrosion conditions. The alloy is most commonly used in a variety of environments ranging from mild oxidation to neutral and moderate reduction conditions. Another application area for the material is in Marine environments and other non-oxidizing chloride solutions. It has essentially the same corrosion resistance and physical properties as Alloy 400, but has a slightly different range of mechanical properties
