Characteristics of Ti-6Al-Sn-4Zr-6Mo
  1. Has excellent high temperature strength and creep resistance
  2. Insensitive to fatigue patterns at full load.

Short Destription:

Ti-6Al-Sn-4Zr-6Mo is an α+β titanium alloy developed by Pratt & Whitney in the United States in the late 1960s that can be strengthened by solid solution treatment. The long-term use temperature of this alloy can reach 450°C, which is slightly lower than Ti-6Al-Sn-4Zr-2Mo high-temperature alloy. However, Ti-6Al-Sn-4Zr-6Mo has higher strength at high temperatures and can be used to manufacture parts with high load-bearing capacity in the mid-temperature range of aircraft engines, such as compressor discs. At the same time, the short-term service temperature of Ti-6Al-Sn-4Zr-6Mo alloy can reach 540°C. In addition to its excellent high-temperature strength and creep resistance, Ti-6246 alloy is also not sensitive to full-load fatigue modes. In order to meet the design requirements of long life and high reliability of aeroengines, this alloy has become the first choice material for compressor spare parts that operate at 400℃-450℃ for a long time.
