Characteristics of Monel 401
  • Tempering: Monel 401 alloy has cold rolling characteristics that adapt to different tempering.
  • Corrosion resistance: The corrosion resistance of Monel 401 is similar to that of Monel 400.
  • Heat treatment: This special alloy cannot be hardened by heat treatment.
  • Weldability: The Monel 401 has amazing weldability at low temperatures.

Short Destription:

Monel 401 (UNS NO4401) is a Monel 400-like nickel-based alloy with very low Curie temperature, very low magnetism and good brazing properties. The alloy can be machined by the processing method of traditional iron based materials, which can be used by TIG and MIG method, mainly for valve stem, pump shaft and impeller, conveyor scraper, oil well drilling ring, elastic parts, valve pad, etc.
